2019 HFMA Western Region Symposium

By: Jeff Buehrle, AzHFMA President

Good morning. I hope your new year is starting off on the right foot. I really cannot believe January is almost over already. I had the opportunity to attend the HFMA Western Symposium from January 13-16. As you can see below the keynote speakers were amazing and their stories compelling. I found the conference provided me much time to self reflect and learn from session to session. I had an opportunity to hear from a Revenue Cycle panel that was quite informative with National speakers changing the way healthcare organization handle their Revenue Cycle and a CFO panel providing information and insights to their roles, personal development and what keeps them up all night. We all have very busy lives and work that keep us from taking advantage of learning opportunities, however, if you are looking for CEUs, Networking and learning opportunities, you will not find a better regional conference for it content versus value. We will hold the 22nd annual Western Symposium in Las Vegas in January 2020, a location that is convenient and close. Please mark your calendars for January 12-15, 2020 next year’s event. I promise you that you will not be disappointed. Thank you.
