With more than 30 years of diverse experience in healthcare, Todd LaPorte, CPA, MBA, provides financial and strategic leadership in the midst of industry reform and emerging technologies. He joined legacy Scottsdale Healthcare in 2001.He works in areas of finance and accounting, strategic planning, and other operations. Part of his role focuses on HonorHealth's relationships with the banking, investor and rating agency communities.He started his career as a senior manager with Ernst & Young, an international CPA firm, with clients across the healthcare continuum. He also served clients in high tech manufacturing and consumer services. He then served as the CFO for an integrated dental company, leading many merger and acquisition activities. Todd was named CFO of the Year by the Arizona chapter of the Financial Executives International in 2012 and was recognized by Becker's Hospital Review as one of the "125 Hospital and Health System CFOs to Know" in 2013.

Scott Donaldson, Partner, Ernst & Young LLP
Scott provides tax planning, consultation, and compliance services to various health care providers, health plans, and other health care related organizations, practicing exclusively in the nonprofit, tax-exempt arena.  He serves as Ernst & Young’s tax executive to many of the Firm’s largest healthcare clients in the western United States. Scott has advised healthcare clients on a variety of issues which include; health care reform, community benefit matters, integrated delivery system development, unrelated business income, private inurement / benefit and intermediate sanctions, organizational restructuring of tax-exempt and taxable entities, captive insurance matters, physician recruiting and retention, joint venture structuring, hospital-physician alliance structuring, executive compensation and employee benefits, excise and payroll tax issues, fundraising issues, state and local taxes, independent contractor issues, and tax-exempt financing.  Additionally, Scott has represented many hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare organizations before the Internal Revenue Service in connection with IRS examinations, tax-exemption applications, and private letter ruling requests.
